Konica 958 printing "zigzag" lines on barcode

I have a customer using a Konica 958 printer that is printing some barcodes with distorted bars / images.

This started 2 weeks ago. Multiple barcodes are sent in a single print job and only 1 of 20 barcodes prints this way.

Can anyone offer suggestions as to what may be causing this issue and what we can try to fix it?

    Thank you in advance.

I'd think about the laser, though I must say that I've never changed a Minerva SBK laser before.

If you have another fuser you can try in there, do that first. I was reading about a Kyocera the other day with zig-zag lines of print, that was caused by an upper fuser roller bias contact. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Looks like a type of moire effect. Wonder if its because of multiple lasers. If that's the case then its caused by the engine and a hardware effect. Wonder if a LPH would cause that.
Not sure if using different driver would make a difference. If using PCL try PS and visa versa.

Had this kind of thing on the pro 950 machines.

Is this causing issues when scanning the barcodes?
        Whatever
