    Firmware upgrade on production press

Do you need to upgrade firmware in order from 1 to 2, 2 to 3.... latest version. I remember older KMs had this requirement esp for fiery firmwares. I have the latest firmware for KM C6100. I don't believe any upgrades have been done since 2019. Can I just flash it with latest?

It isn't always necessary. Some firmware updates will require you to launch from a specific prior version, but most don't. Read the firmware info .pdf that accompanies the latest version carefully so see if a prerequisite step is required. Particularly if using a "special" firmware and not a mass release version.

I forgot to mention. If there is a huge disparity between the current version and whats on the machine (i.e. Machine is at level 20 and the latest is level 60) I will always bump it in 2 level increments just to play it safe.

I was about to bump it from original v1 firmware to v60 directly just fine.
