    [Electrical] C250i cyan background

Today I had a C250i with a cyan background and poor print quality on the copies. Demo page was reasonably ok as were the calibration sheets. This pointed to a scanner issue. When I looked at the scanner the, exposure leds were actually blue instead of white!

I changed the exposure assembly with another machine and copies are now ok, exposure lamps are white.

    Just thought i'd share

This is new machine? What about warranty?

Means red led isn't emitting, good catch.

That's what I figured. There's no way they could emit blue otherwise! Could have been a poor connection, but have yet to test the "faulty" unit.
