    Bizhub 284e

I know it is an older machine, but has very low count, only 123k.
My issue is put paper on DF or glass and the scanner will move like normal, and that is it.
When I got to Job List it shows status Stop Printing and the others queued.
Did a initialization, clear all data, and same issue. It just moves the scan lamp and thats it.

Cant print configuration page, demo page or counter page

    Any ideas? Thanks

1st thing i'd check, do any drums needs replacing, i know it's low mileage, but it's still possible....drum count isn't the amount of prints, but if i remember, it's minutes/rotations, so if it's turned on/off a lot, or even just sitting there, it'll go through various calibrations. if it is, you might get away with changing the drums etc to "no stop"
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

Like kingarthur said. Remove any life stop settings in CE mode and let it her be happy.
At this low mileage I bet it's original drum and same drum can last many many more (usually).
I would print halftone pattern at low and high density and if test prints look right let it be.
Be aware that those are awesome machines but one should push them to the upper monthly volume and beyond and they will happily respond but keeping them idle will cause any kind of problems.

Thanks KingArthur and TSBservice, did life stop off and administrator unlocking and machine is back in action.

Will do it to all the machines I have in stores.
