    [Misc] Image Controller Identification

I have bought Ex-Fiery for KM c6000, the seller said i had to install the software myself. he give me the package software ic-3600 v1.1.
i ve been tried many times install but nothing happen. it shows ERROR "DVD does not support platform!! Press OK to reboot" on monitor.
i am sure the DVD software is OK, but not sure for the EX-FIERY.
Can someone give me clue, how to identification of Fiery Image Control (IC) for Konica Minolta ?

    thank you

IC 306--Fiery workstation--Software original is 80C-KM1.1 System iso
    IC 413 Fiery hang on--IC 413 111 system.iso

Tags on the back should tell you what model it is, along with the windows product key. E

if it has a dvd drive it has to be the tower fiery ic-306.
if you are getting the platform error then its likely the fiery had XP on it and the disk you have is windows 7 version but the fiery requires a RAM and BIOS upgrade to support to ver 1.1 to version 3.0 this is a paid upgrade.

you seem to be in the same boat i am, i need a copy of the original 1.0 software too. ver 1.0 is xp based so unless someone has a copy, KM (and the world) stopped supporting it a while ago. its not even offered on konicas site.

btw, if the model is "ex" whatever, thats a xerox fiery not a konica one im afraid. an IC-306 would have PRO80 or IC-306 on the front badge.

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

I guess you are 100% correct, it has XP on it, after i check the windows key label. and the other label says bizhub press c8000, but no IC-306 clue even on the front badge. Only KONICA MINOLTA.

So i assuming the package software is wrong, as you told that could be win7 version.

Thank you so much for your detail information

Pics are too small can't read.
The ic-306 is also known as the pro80.
I can't read yours. The big silver sticker.
