Konica Minolta C658 - Poor Quality

    Hi guys,

got a Konica Minolta C658 that has the colours all messed up. looking at the machines developing units Black - OK/ Cyan - Depleted/ Magenta - Turned Black/ Yellow - Turned Black,

The TCR levels go to 6-7% but once a print is done they go down to 0.0%

the machine has a total 600K+ the consumable life's are all around 50%-60%

Example of current print out: S45C-6e23010902280.pdf

i have resat all connections on the HV board and Front relay board.

i currently have not replaced any parts yet but thinking of the below:

    HV Board
    Front Relay Board,
    Both IDC sensors

Yeah either HV, hv wiring/terminals or one of the image units might cause some sort of shortage leading to side effects on the other units.

Very common for the Cyan to dump developer. I would start with replacing the Cyan dev unit and Cyan drum and should be good to go. You can also add some after market developer to get level back instead of costly dev unit. But you need to replace drum(s) or transfer belt as well or it will happen again.

This usually happens from over life drums or transfer belt. Also vac any toner inside machine with drums and dev units removed, especially where HV contacts are.
