Hi all. Is there a way to make Olivetti branded MF283 to accept Konica original Image unit? Perhaps via a system bit SW? Thank you in advance.

Switch 10 should do the work but may get some side effects depending on environment.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.Comment

Re: Konica/ Olivetti Image units
The original drum chips from KM C-250i are the same like the original drum chips from Olivetti C-259(identical ?). Are there differnt chips for developer or imaging unit? Can someone please measure the resistance between pin 1 and 4 from orignial Olivetti developer chips, please? Thanks advanced.
I tested sw 10 by an C-287 without any trouble. But I don't know if there are original chips mounted.Comment

Re: Konica/ Olivetti Image units
Hi,
there should be no issue using C287 Image Unit in MF283. They are the same Machine just rebranded. I can't recall having issues with using KM Parts in Olivetti Machines.

Are there different versions of the 7 series? So my C-287 has colored image units. Drum chips only fit black drum unit. The original question is also about Image Units. Incidentally, it was about original chips.Comment
