Hello, kindly I have an error code c-164 on konica 363, after changing the mfb card, I tried to update the firmware, but when trying to update the mfp controller item does not appear, so when the update ends, error c164 reappears. kindly can someone help me. thanks

boot to a firmware stick and check the machine and type against whats in the manual.
also was it a new board or a USED ONE?
you cant just use a used board in another machine. did you install the same nvram?We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

There is a little 8 pin DIP chip that you can to transfer from the old MFPB to the new one. Try that.
Could be that the replacement MFPB is bad and does not want to write firmware to itself.WhateverComment
