Konika Minolta Bizhub C3320i Red / Blue Lines Solution

I wanted to post the resolution that I found in troubleshooting my Konica Minolta Bizhub C3320i unit. When I initially got it, I had red and blue lines being printed, which almost looked like wide-ruled notebook paper from back in the day.

This turns out to be due to the timezone, date, and time not being set. I performed the following procedures to fix it:
-Tap the gear icon on the Home screen to go to the Utility Section
-Tap counter within the Utility section
-Tap 'Display Keyboard' in the top left
-Press STOP button, 0, 0, Stop, 0, 1 (The Stop being the red stop key, the 0's and 1's are the virtual keys) to open the Service menu
-Default service password is 9272927292729272 (9272 repeated 4 times in a row), then press END in the top right
-Press Stop, 1, 1, 4, 4, C and this will take you to the Date/Time Area.
-Simply choose your timezone, and then set the date/time accordingly, and Apply the settings.

Your red/blue lines should now be gone. Figured I'd just document this in case it helps anyone else.

Aha! I just picked up this C3320i for $250 bucks, and Im trying to restore it and get it in a good place. It's been a fun adventure so far! I've put new toner carts and a new waste toner cartridge in it.

I'm now trying to get the latest and greatest firmware and also trying to see if there's a way to lower the initial power draw when the unit first powers on.

Initial power draw is normal for all copiers because of warming up process when fuser lamp(s) is active.
I don't think you can do anything about that and why is that problem anyway, that little thing don't consume much power after all?

Ps:golden rule, don't try to fix things if they work

Well when I got it the magenta toner was completely gone and my waste toner was full. There was a firmware issue that addresses that, and I'd rather be safe than sorry there, or be out a toner that I just bought.

Thank you for this solution. We just got a bizhub C650i and our technician couldn't figure out the problem after assembling the unit. I couldn't wait much longer as I have a lot of printing so I searched and joined this group.

                Thank you again! much appreciated!
