Bizhub c250i magenta stripes and grainy color

Hello everyone.
I have a c250i which prints light magenta stripes or areas when printing. I visited the customer 2 weeks ago and exchanged the drum, after that the problem was solved. I could see that the cleaning roller was partial full of toner.

Now the customer has called again that the same problem has appeared.
What I was able to determine was that the printout is strangely grainy in color, but not in black.

Someone have an idea? DV and Belt looks visually flawless. I guess laser or HV.

Strange with a low meter you would have to replace anything. Only thing that would make sense is aftermarket toners?

perhaps bad luck with the DV unit - are toner and drum original or aftermarket or something "modified"?

Only original consumables.
The customer told me the strips appeared on the first print on Monday morning, but everything was fine on Friday. Well today the stripes are suddenly gone again. Only the grainy print remained.

Hard to judge from the sample photos - running another gradation adjustment and using color copy paper might archieve better solids.

Is this KM or Develop because I can see in S1 it thinks is Develop Ineo

Check the drum and charge voltages in service mode. See if anything is abnormally high or low.

Vdc-Y is too high at 666V normally should be 300-500V.
Can you try another Y drum to see any difference?

Also your CCD Check for clamp/gain are higher than normal, mine are way low.

No, ticket ist open... we are waiting for customer's call.
A few days ago I prepared a new c250i and it shows the same problem and additonally the cyan toner goes to 0% after a few prints.
Device repackaged and sent back. I have no time to repair so many new devices.

I would particularly like to mention that the print quality of the new device was initially completely ok. Only after a few fullpattern cyan prints did this grainy print appear. It was a test to see if the TCR value falls.
This one showed strange behavior. I expected the value to drop but after about 6.2% it jumped up to 8% and that's when I decided to save my time. KM will not pay me for warranty work.

So you might think that the DV Unit is to blame. But on the other device there are all 3 colors and that would be a very big coincidence...

Hi,

I had this problem too. I changed the Magenta Drum. Without success.
Than I changed the Dev Unit. That was the problem.
