I like the webdav solution. Thanks. Its one of the native KM file transfer methods that hardly gets used.

sorry, i just never let customers hold me hostage to things out of my control like security standards or OS upgrades when no driver had been certified for use.
thats some bullshit, i try to be as creative as possible with solutions but there is a line between what you want and what is possible and you will not hold me hostage because they are too lazy to use any of the alternate suggestions.
I agree. Cheap clients seems to be laziest also.
There must be line drawn between possible and impossible.

To save a retrieved document in a User Box, in [Administrator Settings]>[System Settings]>[User Box Settings]>[External Memory Function Settings], set [External Memory Document Scan] to [ON].

(pg 59 of the Advanced Operations Users Guide.)

You should be able to scan to USB with this function enabled. IIRC this function came defaulted to "Disabled". =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
