    Konica 7245 F26-3

machine was due PM so changed dev and developer assembly.
Went to do L-Detect and the machine does not run it just comes up with value of 005.
The main motor should be running so changed driver board, still the same.
Any ideas? Dont really want to order main board yet incase its some thing easy to fix.

Your main motor M1 is shagged.
If you remove it you will find that the motor windings are fractured where they connect to the motor pcb.

I didn't know that there is such a copier 7245??? I thought there were either 7145 or 7222/28/35. In the second case it is probably the M1 the problem for 26-3 but in the case of 7145 i never had similar problems.

Before you go wild changing things Clean the sensor in the drum carriage if it is dirty L-Detec will not run you will get an instant 005 or it will make a short attempt and return 006. Clean it with alcohol even if it does not look dirty.
