I have an SD-510 installed in an FS-532 and whenever it is connected I get a "close finisher door" message on the engine. I have taken the SD-510 out and installed it in another FS-532 and the message moves with the FS-510 so it is definitely something in it. To the best of my knowledge there are no sensors on the SD-510 to tell when it is docked but before I go replacing the board I just wondered if anyone had come across this before and I was missing something obvious.

Re: SD-510 Close Finisher Door
its probably best to look at the sensor check screens for the finisher and SD.
likely an inner door or guide sensor is not sensing close. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though... -
Re: SD-510 Close Finisher Door
I had this once on a 951 with FS532/SD. turned out that the fold motor took out the sd control board. Try disabling the SD and see if the message goes away. I ended up replacing the motor and board both at the same time.Comment

Re: SD-510 Close Finisher Door
That is exactly what it was. Ended up parts cannoning it and eventually got to the motor (last thing I tried).Comment
