    C6500 C-2720

Constant code during the warm up process. The HV/2, separation blocks, transfer rollers, separation plate and PRCB has been replaced. I checked for arcing no visible signs or smell of arcing. The machine only has 500K on it. This one is kicking my butt!

This is what the manual says:
    When the second transfer was
    ON, second transfer abnormality
    detection signal was continuously
    detected for the specified
    time.
    High voltage unit/2 (HV/2)
    Second transfer roller

    Any ideas?

    Is the machine earthed?

Is that that little brass/copper earth connection on the transfer roller in good condition?

The problem was resolved today, I replace the HV/2 again!
According to tech support another guy had to replace the HV/2 twice also.

One done, one million to go!

            Good info.

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that even brand new parts can have defects...even if it is counter-intuitive
