times like this i setup scanning on my laptop and see if its the machine or their network\PC security
what operating system?
if its the "home" version of windows scanning is a PITA.

please post the scan error from the log.

can the folder its being scanned to be reached from another PC? \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\foldershared?
are you sharing the exact folder or a subfolder under the share?
was the specific scan user added to the permissions of the folder shared? with full permission?

without a failure code we are grasping at straws.

best to print from the app imho but is there any security on the machine at all?
btw if the copier hardwire is on the same subnet as their wireless network they can simply use that and forget about airprint and print by IP..
just my .02 sounds like copytrack or something else restricting it unless they have the wrong driver from a previous model?
