Re: Konica Minolta BizHub C3350: Scan to Folder stopped working

    I got it working!!!!

Not sure which step it was that got it working though. I disabled DFS. Don't even know what Distributed File System is.
This machine was previously owned by Volkswagen car dealership. I didn't do a factory reset when I bought so maybe it was a setting left over from them.

Glad it's working. Thanks so much for your help!

    Ok. Try this:

    On the computer:
Right click the folder being scanned to, Properties, Sharing tab, Advanced permissions. Add your dedicated scan user to the list if it is not here. Give Full Control. Double check the Security tab while in here.
Control panel, Program Features, Turn Windows Features On and Off, find SMB V1 and check it. Windows will set needed file and ask to reboot.
Make sure Network Type is set to "Private". Start, Settings, click Network, change the setting. Don't remember exact steps here.

did they change the receiving pc?
is the user name still in the shared permissions?
          has a password changed?
can you access the folder from another PC using \\servername\sharename? or try \\ip address\ and see what shares come up.
if it asks for a password try the one the copier is using. most scan to pc failures can be isolated this way.
can you change the host to an IP address instead?
its been a year, run an ipconfig /all from a command line and make sure the dns and geteway are the same on the copier.

in admin mode you can enable error codes for scans to see the real error in the lob log.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...
