Konica Minolta BizHub C3350: Scan to FTP stopped working

Not used the Scan to FTP function on my Konica Minolta BizHub C3350. I cannot get it working again. My hosting provider (Ionos) now only allows SFTP protocol which I'm not sure is supported by the C3350.

scan to FTP is usually done locally and your provider isnt involved.

I think you misunderstand. The FTP server I'm using is with my hosting company, 1&1 / Ionos. I don't have a FTP server running on a local machine.
It was setup and working fine but stopped when Ionos don't allow plain FTP only SFTP.

FTP usually runs on port 21 nby default, sftp on port 22. If you are lucky the machine supports it, tr to change port and see what happens
As an alternative, setup a sftp server on your site, make communication with the ionos server possible, then ftp to the new local server
