    Ysoft Card Reader

    Hello everyone,
    we have two C450i and one C3350i with SafeQ and Ysoft Card Reade. Sometimes, Every week or two, the Card Card Reader stop workin, no beep and no authentication. To make it operational again you need to disconnect and reconnect the USB socket.
    We have already tried to replace the USB cable and the card reader (also with other models but always from Ysoft). We update also the Card Reader Firmaware. We tried with another USB socket. We also changed the CPUB because one of these C450i's froze and had to be restarted.
    We updated the FW G00-Q8 and also tried with the GC3-Q6.
    Anyone who has experience with this should come forward.
    Thank you in advance.

    I would try to downgrade firmware. Also you didn't mention SafeQ version and build.

      The MFPs are not by the same customer. SafeQ is verion 5. The first customer has a new build. We have reinstalled it few month ago for a problem with log4j. The other MFP of both customer working fine, they haven't this problem.
      We will try with Firmware downgrade. Have someone an idea wgat formware we could try?

        Some Ysoft Card Reader detect NFC antenna as a badge. You can try to remove the antenna circuit.

              We had the same issue. Upgrading the firmware to Q8 AND the function version to version 2.2 resolved the issue.

                    Not 3.0 but 30

                    @albemero, try GG3-Q6 instead of GC3-Q6.

                      Thanks everyone. We have decided to change the MFP to assure the customer. Sometimes it's so.
