    Konica-Minolta and Scan to SMB

There was/is a Konica-Minolta document with the description how to set up Scan to SMB.
    Does anyone have it?
I think, in this document, it is said that it must be a local user for scan to smb, a domain user will not work.
    Is this correct?
We have a customer who only has domain users and scan to smb doesn't work with a C3320i.
    I'm not sure about it.

    Thank you.

Re: Konica-Minolta and Scan to SMB

since the dawn of OCR scanning i have always setup a local user named scan with a pass of scan or Scanner01 if complexity is used.

domain scanning is possible but i think the machine has to join the domain which eats a server CAL

im still a big fan of scan to USB flash drive.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Attached is a guide on how to set up SMB scanning Scan to SMB v2.1.pdf

as mentioned your best off setting up your own local user.
