    [Misc] C250i printing instructions

Hi all, I have an odd one which I am hoping one of you may have come across before?

My customer is printing from a program which is on a hosted domain and not on their local pc, when they print from this package they get the simple web print dialogue option and don't get the option to select Paper Type, and can't select Thick 2 from the Bypass tray, if they then select more options and the option to print using the system dialogue and then go into printer preferences, they can then select Thick 2 from the Bypass tray, but this instruction isn't sent to the machine and the machine just beeps saying load A3 plain paper onto the bypass tray. It seems the Thick 2 selection isn't being picked up?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, it's hard to explain when typing out.

Any idea exactly what program it is? Seems like the program is overriding the driver instructions. Since it's not hosted locally, it might be something they have to take up with the software company.

Hi, yes it's a program called ALTO, my customer is an Estate Agent and this software allows them to create PDF documents of houses with photos and specs etc. The ALTO people have said it's nothing to do with them, which is really helpful.

to prove its the software screwing up always save the PDF and print with adobe or my favorite Foxit reader. not through the APP.
if prints the pdf fine the app is donkey dung.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

As suggested, download the PDF and try to print it locally. You could also try Print As Image setting if opening in Adobe.
You could also try the print driver override settings in driver. I have had varying success with this setting, but it is worth a try.
