Am looking at purchasing a ES-1000 or 2000 second hand. Will I be able to active the license using the serial number or can it only be activated once?

what do you mean activate?
just have it plugged in when opening CWS and it will find and use it.
there is no license, its just a USB device.
i have an es-2000 only used like twice but i dont know if you want to pay shipping across the great pond to the home of Loch Ness.

Thank you for replying. I thought I read somewhere about a license but could of been for the color profiler suite which I thought you needed for the calibrator.

what model fiery/copier are you planning on using it on?
i think some of the newer Fierys require the Eye1 unit, the Fierys on the 4 series and up wont use an ES-1000 anymore but the 2000 is still an option.
not sure about the acuriopress models and the 2000.
please do a little research because id hate to see you try and use it and the Fiery says its too old or wont even list the 2000 like the 1000 isnt even an option anymore on pretty much anything past the IC-413.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
