Is there a way to increase amount of pages in booklet that can be stapled?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to complete a 11x17 booklet job, center stapled and folded. Apparently I have about 3 pages too many and when I get to 40 pages it notifies me I have reached my limit and it will not staple. Is there a way I can increase that limit by a few pages? My machine is a bizhub c284e.

That would probably break the staple unit.
Those SD units on regular mfps are quite limited capability I'm aftraid.not the toughest piece of hardware.
