    BizHub 4750 light print

Don't know the small Kon/Min (Lexmark) machines that well.

Anyone have issues with this model and light print quality? Print looks like it's undertoned but no message that toner is low. New toner, image unit 59%.

Looking in manual is shows to clean the toner sensor but I can't find sensor? Parts manual shows sensor but hard to tell where it's at? Sensor removable procedure in serv man looks really involved. I would like to blow off sensor with canned air, is this possible? Do these sensors go bad.

These Lexmarks have notorious problem with imaging units and even more if some replacement toner is in use.
Clean doctor blade from developing roller and check results.
I ordered only doctor blades for these machines because it is cheaper than replacing whole IU.

To add to what Toxic said I hate them. That said they can be workhorse too. We have one in field with close to 1 million counter. I have one which randomly produces very faint prints, I replaced toner, IU, transfer roller, checked and cleaned every contact and sensors eventually did HV unit and that seemed to fix it for a year then here we go again problem reappeared. Next to the dumpster it went.
Sorry dude not good news I know but maybe your can have something simple like bad toner or IU.
Lastly I seem to recall there is toner save mode somewhere in menus I would check that also in service mode you can do halftone patterns at maximum density to check if the black is solid or faint.

Toner save mode is in the driver under preferences, quality tab. Also I've had to replace or clean the printhead sometimes on these to get it to darken up.
