Bizhub C250i hopper problem!

Hello Guys ,

we have a C250i with a strange problem . M and K TCR values are to less around 1% , we add manual toner and TCR value going to normal, but we noticed that when we try to add manually toner to hopper section toner bottles not turning and hopper not filling. We think this is a reason why Dev unit is empty and TCR value is out of range. Any suggestions ?

Vacuum out some of the toner in each hopper until you can see the toner level sensing arm at the back, it comes off the hinge and doesn't detect the toner level correctly. This can be clipped back on. Also look at the sensors under the hoppers just above the developers and make suer they are clean. Because of the clip that holds the toners in, there is a hole that toner drops down and dirties the sensors.

We opened the hopper section and noticed that mechanism for toner level was somehow not in the right place and sensor for toner level was blocked and gave wrong signal that hopper section is full, but was totally empty!
