FD-503 multi folder not workingq

Hello I have a FD-503 that won't turn on to fold anything. It'll activate to punch holes but not to staple or do folds. I had a look at the circuit board and it seemed fine. I also cleaned the sensors on the trays. Any ideas? To be precise when I press the start button it doesn't do anything not even raise the tray up to the feed rollers The light for the start button is also only glowing red for the options that won't work. While for the things that do work it'll also glow blue

I'm kinda dumb lol. It was just the guides up top won't allow the functions to work if the width of the paper is to thin. I could get around it by pushing them in after activating the folder.
