Konica Minolta Bizhub C227I (Sindoh D330) Faulty SSD

    Need of help.

We have two Sindoh D330 (Bizhub C227I) that fail to boot up after a power cut. The screen just hangs. We have run the Recovery firmware and it would suggest the SSD is faulty. Has anyone fitted a new replacement SSD that wasn't purchased from Konica. Does anyone know what format it needs to be in.

    TIA

Hi can you confirm that the Sindoh ssd’s are actually different to the Konica ones. I have a d330 which won’t take the new sindoh firmware but I’ve installed a Konica ssd..

I doubt that ssd drives for sindoch will be different if the firmware is common. Regular format or deleted partition drives will not work, you need the appropriate FW on the ssd controller. We can supply ssd for i series devices for half the list price.

          Hi.
I tried installing different NVME solid-state drives on c257i, c250i, c3350i. The problem is that the device only sees its SSD controller firmware (for example, G00-18).
In order for the MFP to see the SSD, you need to find a drive with the same controller, take a dump from the controller (NOT THE SSD MEMORY, BUT THE CONTROLLER) and transfer it to the new one.
But there is an even deeper problem. SSD blocking occurs due to SPI FLASH blocking on the CPUB board.
For more detailed diagnostics of the CPUB, you will need to install the CPU1, CPU2, Boot ROM + Update FW update.
I do not know if the firmware from Konica Minolta matches you. If so, I can help you.
          Regars.

We sent our SSD accepted in bizhub KM devices to the Sindoch representative in the UK with the KM firmware and everything worked fine. CPU-B diagnostics are easiest to perform using a regular SD card and firmware. CPU1, CPU2, Boot ROM will not help in diagnosing the CPU-B module if it is damaged

Sorry, but I know what I'm talking about. When there is a problem with the SPI Flash, when installing Boot Rom or CPU1 or CPU2, the device reboots, because one of the SPI Flashes is blocked.
