    km C4080 "Blocking"

Hi all, Our Konica sales rep is recommending we skip the buffer unit on the new c4080 we are ordering because the new machines don't need it. Years ago I had blocking issues when printing cardstock where the warm sheets would stick to each other in the output tray. since then iv'e always had the buffer unit the to cool the paper before it reaches the stacker. Do any of you know if it is true that the newer machines will deliver sheets already cool without the buffer?

The relay unit is only required for certain accessories. The newer machines have sufficient cooling fans post fuser to prevent image defects and sticking.
You can always add a relay unit later if you feel it's necessary.
