    Bizhub C550i quality problem

    This problem has been going on for a few months, and it is still unsolved. The image density is uneven and slightly low. In the first image, you can see the test page. In the second image, you can see the same test page printed from another C550i located at the same customer.
    Items replaced: transfer belt, transfer roller, BASEB, CPU, HV, A800 memory board. After the replacement of the boards the issue was fixed, but mysteriously came back a few days later.

    Please re upload your pictures again, i can't see anything. Looks more like different color reproduction with SW153.

          Original toner? And you swap the drums from a other working +550i? and take the paper too from there.
          And compare the print before it runs to the fuser to be shure it's related to the DV/DR/Belt. I know there are new Fusers available to improve print quality.

            How does the parts look that you replaced? Have you tried a self run full diagnostics in service or checked under state confirmation if any value is out of place? IDC sensors PH unit temp. How far apart are the machines from each other if in the same building there could also be a drop in voltage in that office also check the fans are extracting and cooloing as they should. All the best hope it works out.

              Good call compare software switch settings on both devices.

                like he said. Color reproduction intent setting. toner save on even maybe.

                  print out and compare management lists from the two units. a management list from when you say it was ok, compared to when its not correct may tell you exactly where the problem lies.

                    As mentioned above, set sw 153 to HEX 40. Do ACC after. Check the drum setting, default 0 and not minus figure in the service menu under the Imaging Process Adjustment option I think it is. +5 -5 range for C Y M K. You can set colours/ density in the driver too. There may be some settings on the copier, under the printer menu, like eco/toner save/ density.

                      Thank you all for your responses, guys. After all, it turned out to be the fuser. We tried a fuser from another machine, and that instantly solved the problem.
