Konica C364 Green copy and scans

    Hi everyone

A customer reports me a strange problem on a Konica C364
When he arrives in the morning and performs the first copies or scans come out with this problem
    SKMBT_C36423112918100.pdfSKMBT_C36424011918510.pdf

After about 4/5 scans the problem decreases and after about 10 scans it is completely disappeared.

The only thing that comes to mind is that this customer turns off the heating at night and the printer also reaches 10/12 degrees. Can this be the cause? Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you

Try reseating the CCD cable on the CCD and the MFPB.
    Whatever

Temperature / environment could be the reason this happens.

As a test simply ask the client to leave the heating on overnight & see if they get the issue the next day.

Does it matter if they copy/scan off the glass or in the adf?
might be a weird time/energy issue

redo calibrations. Something might be off and the device corrects itself after a few scans/copies?

Yellow-green scans can occur when the angle/timing of the ccd to the glass is off. Colors will be off/image a bit fuzzy but fact that it correct itself is odd - if not fuzzy it shouldn't physically be out but the wrong amount of light when scanning?

reseat connectors, make sure glass is clean, and if you could find a way to measure or look at the lamp while it scans...maybe somehow readjust the lamp voltage or replace CCD.

          This test is in progress.

I wait a few days then call the customer.

The problem is the same for both glass and ADF
After 5/10 copies or scans the problem disappears

              Hi,

We had a similar problem, we replaced almost everything and in the end it turned out to be the power supply!
Strange but true, take this advice if you want.
