Di550 comes with C-0049

Di550 when doing copies the error code c-0049 comes out after 8 copies.-- this refer to paper source option vertical tansport cooling fan malfunction.this machine doesn't comes with the optional parts that mantioned.even I pulled all connector like feeder and fnisher.it still appear.I tried change all pwb from good machine but hopeless.
I have check all cooling fan and motor and that all work propperly.

If anybody have an idea please help me to solve this problem.
I've spend 3 days on this machine to make its work.

The Di450 displays Malfunction code C0049, paper source option vertical cooling fan motor malfunction.
Solution:
The Vertical transport cooling fan motor rotation: the voltage across PJ4IA-1 on the power supply board and GND should be 24 VDC after the malfunction has been reset. If not, change the control board.

The vertical transport cooling fan motor rotation: the voltage across PJ4IA-3 on the power supply board and GND should be 0 VDC after the malfunction has been reset. If it is 0 volts, change the control board otherwise change the motor.
Please refer to the Field Service Manual (approx. 4 MB) for additional details.

how many paper trays do you have on the Di550?

I believe that is a code for the main fan in the back buried right in the middle.

no thats a c0040 code for the suction fan in the back take off the side cover on transport side u will see the fan

This di550 comes with 3 paper tray.1 & 2 is universal tray and below the duplex is large capacity tray.
I have visually check all the fan is rotating smoothly.
unless the fan cannot be seen outside.

M132 find it and replace the fan. This machine comes with options PF 115 and 208 and the fans made wherever not to put names here are very bad quality. I work with this machines for some times and I've replaced a lot of fans fuser, suctions, optics, power supply but not this one. Hope I help in anyway.

Sorry Guys. this post rotten already. it more then 10 years ago. now We don't do service on Minolta anymore.
