Bizhub c368 issue with white specs on one side when printing from tray (bypass fine)

    Hello,

Having an odd issue here, wondering if anyone has any ideas. When printing duplex from trays 1-3, one side of the print has a white snow effect speckled on the printed areas (especially visible in filled colour areas). I've tested it on standard copy paper and premium 28lb HP paper, it's less noticeable on the HP paper but still very apparent. When printing duplex from the bypass tray, prints come out perfect on both sides.

My only theory is maybe static is building up somewhere on the path from trays 1-3 and affecting the second side of the print? But I really have no idea.

I've attached a picture below showing the difference.

That is strange because once paper from by-pass is fed into machine it uses same process as paper fed from other trays. Could it be settings for 2nd side was changed in service mode, like temp, etc. Or the By-pass is set for thick paper which make machine run slower, etc

Yes, pretty odd... I tried doing a full system reset, the issue was still happening. I tried printing 600dpi instead of 1200dpi and at 600dpi the issue does not happen on the premium HP 28lb bond paper, but it still does (less noticeably) on the cheap 20lb copy. So I can print on either paper duplex fine at 600 or 1200dpi via bypass tray, Or I can print on HP 28lb duplex fine from any paper source if using 600dpi.
