    bizhub 501 , toner add

    It doesn't rotate toner bottle. I think it's TONER CONVEYING DRIVE ASSY .can i fix it or need to replace it all. Also can it be something else?

      I just had the same thing on a Biz 421 (same series). I replaced the toner ring (part # 50GE-3380) & toner conveying drive assy (part # 50GA-3230) As you know this machine is around 20 yrs old and parts are very hard to find. Good luck

          Sorry for the mistake but customer did not explained well to me. He lives in other city and from phone....
          Machine doesn't shows add toner message but when he makes for example 100 copies after the 80th copy image gradually get lighter and lighter. The 100th copy is lighter than this of the 80th copy. If it makes , for example, 20 or 60 copies image is ok.
          OPC drum and developer have beed replaced recently.
          customer executed (on his own) tcr adj and code 5 appeared.
          I suspect high voltage . Any other idea? I must be ready when i visit customer to his home tοwn.
