    c5501 paper crease

Has anyone seen a fault with the c5501 creasing NCR paper in the middle?

    Can anyone advise?
    Cheers

I don't know about NCR paper (I still don't know enough about different paper stocks) but I have seen a definate wave in the paper about half way. The image shows a side view of what I had. I changed both decurl rollers early to get rid of it.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers.

Decurlers could the cause, as suggested above. I would try to reduce the paper registration loop.

Thin paper can bunch up too much and cause creasing with a large loop.

not sure what the fault is but the customer was running sra3 and the paper creased half way down, so i got them to cut it down to a3 and it worked without creasing. the job had to be double sided so they were running one side through with no problem until they put it back through the second time thats when it creased. any thoughts anyone.

Let me be sure: SRA3 creased on the second pass.

          A3 works.

I would look into the grain/fibre direction of the paper.
