hi guys i have a cf3102 which will not allow scanning to folder ftp..what must i do.

Can you please provide more information on your problem.

Have you got an FTP server running?
Have you setup an FTP one touch on the machine?
Is the machine unable to connect to the FTP server when scanning.

The more information that you can give us, the more likely some one will be able to help.

good morning ..this machine is tempermental..

the scanning feature intermittantly gives me a message that the job has not been completed correctly.
i have tried to scan to folder on my laptop with crossover cable still the same problem..

reloaded fieery and tried.. funny the machine is printing.

Have you printed out a Job log to why the scan is failing?

Utility - Controller Details - Menu - Print Pages

There are multiple logs in this area.

One other thing crossed my mind. Have you reloaded all of the patches for the Fiery?
