    konica minolta bizhub 420 error code T82 after a fax has been attempted.

    Are you sure it is an error code? From what I know, the error codes for fax are formated like this C-Bxxx

      Don't know, it was reported via email by a user and the machine is in another building.
      I went to look and the code was gone from the display, so I suspect since it was a new user, they were the error.

        T82 is a no answer code reported by the fax. Problem with other fax no answer, not dialed correctly. Need to dial a 7 or 9 or other access code before phone number. That kind of thing.

          Im getting this 2 on a c250, The fax board works on ourmachine, but when In the it nec25c2 or whatever, it just sits after making a fax, and says waiting in the job log screen, coding out to a

          t-82 (T82 Call control Answer tone (CED/DIS) waitingtimeout after dialing at calling)

          IT was in this machine for years, going to check phone line today but wierd stuff

            possible solution

            Although this was on a C203 the fax systems are probable similar

            Problem: at a new installation
            Fax error T82 when sending a fax long distance with a Pause and then user code
            example: 914507561748P607
            on Activity Report - Result = No Answer
            Solution: Dialing Method was "20 pps"
            it should have been "PB"
            Utility - Admin.Settings - Fax Settings - Line Parameter Settings - Dialing Method = PB
