If it has drawers it is a DB not a stand. The DB is part of the paper path when duplexing. Longer paper actually feeds under the DB then back up. At the bottom of the DB there is a metal slot for the paper to feed into. There is a mylar glued to the slot entrance, if this mylar has been damage long paper will mis-feed while shorter paper feeds fine. Check the mylar if it is damaged just peel it off and clean the glue from the guide, I have found they will run fine without this mylar.

Like mrwho said, codes? How many copies? Had probs duplexing when the paper exit actuator(26NA53170) gets worn down. Same with the reversal actuator 26NA50071.

                Something for you to check:

                DESCRIPTION: J97-2 occurs when duplexing.
CAUSE: The actuator for PS4 (ADU PS) is binding.
SOLUTION: Check the actuator for PS4 (p/n 26NA50070) for binding. Replace as needed.
