C6501 FS521 Tray doesn't stop.

Hi guy's,

I've several C6501 with FS521 (stapler), the engine is in version 60.

The problem is that sometimes the main tray of FS521 goes up alone in stand by or doesn't at upper position and broke some gears!

Of course all parts involved has been replaced (sensors, pba's, software reload...)

Do you have any solution or workarround for that?

Maybe wiring to upper limit switch n/g. I have had Konica finishers w/ wiring harness problems.

Upper limit is set by light sensor (stupid idea) so any ambient light shining on it will give a false reading driving the tray up. Check for light sources that shine into the sensors.
