    Intermittent dirty lines on copies

    Hello...

Im getting this dirty intermittent (sometimes very dirty) lines mostly on the right side of the paper and sometimes across it. The copies are solid and copy quality is great except for these dirty lines that kept appearing on most copies.

I also noticed dirty edges at the right side of copy paper.

    Actual images attached below.

Looks like cleaning blade to me, but it could depend on what model machine it is too... seen pretty much that symtom with worn blades on their black and white models, particularily 71xx series and 72xx series.

Edit: Also Bizhub 420-501 series cleaners/blades as well.

    Regards!
    A.

I assume you're running the paper in the landscape direction. It looks like a problem with the drum/cleaning blade to me.

I agree, I`d bet my bosses wages its the drum blade However if the drum, dev and blade are anywhere near life I`d change the lot and don`t forget to reset the parts counters and set up the drum and dev correctly.
