Konica 7022 - Vertical Line

A vertical line appears on each copy that is made after some usage. One person in the office thinks it happens after we receive a fax.

I turn the copier off and then back on and that will temporarily fix the problem. But down the road, it eventually appears again.

Any suggestions?

dirty scan glass. drum and cleaning blade. charge corona and grid. got to be one of them.

if you get a line comming off the printer-you just illiminated the optics section. next, is the line solid and straight across or wishy/washy looking? straight and solid would be drum and cleaning blade, the other would be charge corona and grid.

I agree CMB issues. Please specify it by make a blank copy and turn off the copy when you think the copy are at the drum unit area. Open the machine and remove the jumped paper. Then, you can see the rest. But, I think it is not by optical system because it is apeared after some copies making.
