    Bizhub C6500 - C-6703 Report Code

    Anyone know what this code means?...

      I my experience this is generally a file that got corrupted during processing. Have the customer power cycle both the main and sub power switches on the copier and also power cycle the rip.

          After negation of SVV, compression of scanned image and evolution to page memory are not completed.

                      I think I just had that, it was NOT a cheap fix. Check and make sure the cable is properly connected from the fiery to the copier. BE SURE TO TURN THE POWER OFF FIRST! If it messes up it usually blows a board. (I forget which I'd have to look it up)
                      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

                          Agree the fix to this is not cheap.

                          In order of expense:

                          Fiery to copier cable
                          C6500 Image processing board
                          Fiery video card that connects to the copier

                          As far as moving connections with the power on - we had a salesperson hot swap the cable for a Fiery for one on a Creo in our showroom. Blew the copier IP board, and the video cards in two controllers. Replacing them was two months salary for me but this guy gets an attaboy for selling 5 machines this month. There is no justice.
