    FTP scan in the shared network storage?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to use example C280 "Scan to FTP" in the Buffalo linkstation?

    I try to allow any traffic in buffalo admin panel and set ftp settings in the copymachine:

    "Host": 191.167.1.98
    "target": disk1\shared
    "port": 21
    "admin" "password"

    C280 always tell about "no specified folder".
    If i try in the firefox url ftp://adminassword@191.167.1.98/disk1/shared" it is correct.

    So, is this even possible to scan buffalo?

    I'm not familair with the Buffalo Linkstation, but if it is acting as a ftp server and ftp root folder is "shared" it should work to type only "\" as the file path on the copier.

      The FTP scan automatically defaults to the FTP root folder. You only need to enter any subfolders that you want to scan to. Other than that, a "/" or a "." will do to scan just to the root folder.

        if i use "\" or "." -> always says "no specified folder".

        edit:

        I dont know 100% sure if all settings is right in the buffalo(linkstation live LS-CH500L).

        There is allowed all users in all folders, and "FTP" is selected each folder.
