Service Code 41-09 on Konica 8050

I am getting SC 41-09 quite often. After initial startup the machine will shut down with SC-41-09 after approximately 30 minutes. I will restart and start printing and sometime it runs 30 minutes to an hour. Before I call for service, is their a sensor or filter that can be checked. Thanks John

polygon motor in cyan laser assembly is failing ,you are going to need a tech new laser or lube the polygon motor which i don't know if it's possible in this unit.........good luck

First turn off and unplug the machine.Take off the right side cover and then the metal plate covering the lasers. Clean out the dirt, dust and debris clogged in the heatsinks of the laser motors. Restart the machine, you should be all set.

If not, yeah your going to need a tech.

Cleaning the dust and debris out. I did not go to deep into machine. I only took off right side cover and cleaned fins. No error codes since. Tanks for your help.
