konica 7145 eating developer

i have a konica 7145 that keeps eating its developer. i have replaced toner hopper(making noise) reset drum counters. i actually have a 7022 doing same thing. i replaced corona and lamp. still eating developer. any ideas

Check Bias voltage, and connections.

Eating Developer is not a very accurate description. If you mean the Developer is being dumped out the back end of the machine, then change your dev bushings and seals. If you mean the mag roller has large bald spots on it as if there is not enough dev in the tank, then start vacuuming out the recycle auger more often because hardened developer and toner are building up in the auger guide built into the cleaning blade and eventually being scraped off and sent to the dev tank these larger chunks of the dev plug the doctor blade and dev no longer flows around the mag roller.
