First, thank you for replaying.
Do i still need to install the hard drive, if i want to scan documents to pc?
If i do not need the hdd, would u please let me know the set-up to pdf, or email.

i did install the scanner in the di-470 minolta, and it did work. The problem was broken wire in the harness.
