Konica 7020 will not transmit fax

I have a cutomer with a konica 7020 fax/ print. Fax stopped transmitting. It recieves fine but will not transmit. Put a differant fax unit in the machine and still have the same problem. Put their fax unit in a differant machine and it works fine. One solutions says to initilize the memory. But is that memory inside the fax unit itself? If so i don't see how that could help since the fax unit works fine in another machine. Any ideas?

Make sure it's set for US and NOT JP.

Yes, check the communication configuration. If the customer has a PBX, it could have been reconfigured or swapped for a new one and that might have changed the requirements - I once had a customer whose PBX required pulse dialing. Later on, when he upgraded the PBX, we had to change the configuration to tone dialing. Also check if you've got a working connection to the outside - try to plug in a phone and make a call somewhere.
