I would asume you are talking about a DI 1611 , all you need to do is to run f8 and clear your supplies life counter.

You need to enter utility mode and follow the drum change screen to set new drum..all detailed in user handbook!

There's no Di161 in my area but it should be equivalent to some other models in other places.

It is better for you to take a photo of your machine and post here to let us know what it is equivalent to other model in order to help.
