Started out as a magenta line going across the image, now the Test copy has all colors faint and light..Total page count is 1307: Color 8818,B/W 489. Drum unit has 84% life remaining on it. Toners are compatible.At this point after removing all the color and dumping all the waste toner from the waste bin of the drum unit,cleaned scan glass, I have ran out of options. Except, does the laser scanner Unit have the same lens,mirror set up as an HP? Any help is greatly appreciated,Steve:

I don't know anything about these printers, but I do know sometimes blowing the scanners out doesn't work. On some printers I've had to literally remove the scanner and hold it up to the light to swab the lenses with a lint free swab. If there is any hazing you should be able to see it. Check laser scanner & cartridge shutters (if it has them). Hope these suggestions help. I will see if I can get a part number for the scanner for you, but no promises.
