    [Error Code] c-D048

    hi all
    need help on this one C-D048 error library do i need to format and reinstall or new hdd

          sorry stirton.m and everyone but new to this the machine is a c280 the error is d084 will i have to format and reinstall or new hdd

              This particular code, to clear, requires to turn off the main power switch. Do not use the "sub power", it is not the same thing.

              In the case of a recurring failure, you may have to go deeper. I have yet to see this type of error on any machines I work on. The manual does not reveal any "fix" aside from the power switch.

              The drive itself may be failing but to know, you can try formatting the drive. Use logical, it is reasonably fast. The other choice takes forever.

              Swapping the drive will reveal if it is the drive, or the PRCB that is failing.

                  Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
