Sorry mrwho , since you do not start this thread but...., well is curious about this, so I bother to bring these bulletin to you and the others who responded well in this thread.

This problem with the touch panel also seems to be common in the old DI850/750. appears as an erratic failure, according to some colleagues in the field told me that the problem appear during changes of weather or in high humidity place.

After a while I found one of these bulletin are a good detail of the case.

But more particularly I just wanted to apologize mrwho, you was entangled in a discussion that did not deserve to go ahead, I am not offended with anyone in particular, but you think carefully, all those points Rep P, do not change my prestige in my field, but still wanted to exchange ideas with other technicians, and this is unfortunate.

    Good Luck!

Hello, Is there a generic touch screen that would work with the Konica's? We have many of these machines that are all failing. Thanks, Bob

I do not think this exists .... Carlos!, Try to get reasonable price for replacement in quantity.

or ...... maybe I can spend a tip. but really trust me on this site do not send checks for this.
Anyway, the safest way to solve this is .... replacement.

Hi JMA, Is the free of charge replacement program still available? The replacement is $311.80 at the lowest I have found so far. Who would you get this from? Thanks, Bob

You will need to contact your nearest KM service rep to initiate the replacement of the panel through RMA with service support. mo0651 makes reference to this earlier in the thread, but it is only accessible to an authorized technician. You can provide the info to the tech to help them identify specifically what you are after.
