Have you updated firmware? Or could be NVRAM

yes, already update to the lastet firmware.
But never try the NVram, no additianal NVRam to swap.
normally if the display stop at sand clock, what is the common problem?

      thanks for the replied.

If you are lucky the problem is the SDRAM on the MFPB. Otherwise it's the MFPB. Did the update procedure end with no problems? (CHKSUM ok??). If yes then you should try an other SDRAM. If the machine has also a FAX card, disconnect it and try again.

solved. the problem is the firmware, the first update finish with no problem, but machine cannot start.
today try the older version firmware, it works, then try the latest firmware again, it works fine as well...scratch head....
